Influenced by the grand traditions of the home of Golf, St Andrews, in Scotland, Links Hope Island is the most iconic Links course of its kind in South East Queensland.
Designed by five times British Open winner Peter Thomson and his design partner Mike Wolveridge, Links Hope Island Golf Course is an 18 hole rational \'links\' style championship course of international standard.
The Mediterranean style club house exudes a welcoming ambiance, so it\'s not just a club but also the heart and soul of the north shore precinct. Links Hope Island is a youthful and progressive club, where members and their guests share a common love of the game.
After 15 years as a renowned resort course, the next chapter of Hope Island Golf has arrived with Links Hope Island now becoming a private facility with Equity Members. The club is currently in the exciting and early stages of this transitional period. Limited public access is still available, and to gain access to Links Hope Island Golf Course visitors should contact the club well in advance to secure a booking.
Since opening its doors in 1993 the club has been consistently ranked in Australia\'s top 10 resort courses. Host to the 1997 Johnnie Walker Classic and The Qantas Legends Golf Classic each year, the course is both nationally and internationally renowned.
Set in a 360 ha residential resort community, the par 72 course measure approximately 6,500 metres off the championship tees.
