Bread & Butter is a consumer research and strategic planning consultancy, established in 1997, and based in Sydney. We conduct fieldwork in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, and manage research all over the globe.

Our name reflects the origins of the company, as a food and beverage specialist.

This is still reflected today, in a client list which proudly includes the brand leaders in categories such as meals, brewing, snack food, beverages and supermarket retailing.

However, as Bread & Butter has grown, we have broadened our scope to include other FMCG categories, the media, a wide range of service industries such as banking, and business to business research.

But beyond this, the name Bread & Butter is symbolic of our culture. To remain focused on the simple, the practical, and the essential solutions to the marketing or business problem at hand.

Bread & Butter operates on the basis of category exclusivity.
